Making ‘jus’ and a pet peeve

Tonight we’re eating ‘boerenkool met worst’ or the traditional Dutch curly kale ‘stamppot’ (mash).

It’s traditionally eaten with smoked sausage and jus, with a possibility of added bacon bits.
